This iPhone app contains 8 educational activities parents can do with their young toddlers and preschoolers. My boy is 15 months old and has been playing with this iPhone app since he's been able to hold my phone in his hands! He absolutely loves it!! Very colourful graphics, and each game has loads of places that can be touch on the screen so babies don't need to know exactly what they're doing. As long as they understand they need to touch the screen, they can touch pretty much anywhere and something will happen (noise, animals, colours ect...)

For young babies I would recommend 

- Colors: press a colour on the screen and it will tell you what it is as well as showing an animal in that colour

 and telling you its name.

- Shapes: click in the eyes to see shapes pop out of a little planet. Listen to the shape name and colour.

- Matching: Slide 3 parts of a body to make different animals then see it move and make noise.

- Sounds: Touch farm animals to hear their name and sound.

 - Typing: baby will need to be a little older for that (I'd say from 13 mths onward should be ok) because baby needs to understand that he needs to touch the letter on the mini keyboard, not the animal that pops out.
Each letter shows an animal who's name start with that letter and makes a noise. Very entertaining as so much going on. 

Artists (drawing) and Body (move body parts to make a monkey) are too complicated for my 15 months old baby boy as they need the user to think about making a result image while playing, as opposed to just touching the screen for something to happen. You'll find with these young babies can easily touch the screen for a few minutes with nothing happening if they don't touch the exact objects needed to make the final picture.

Numbers is definitely aiming at preschoolers as it requires toddler's ability to recognise the numbers and touch them in the correct order. 

Version 3.1 now includes 18 activites which I haven't tested yet. I'll be back wit a new blog post once I have tested these on my little boy!! Loads of fun ahead then!
